Our Extended-Range readers are ideally suited to custom applications where extended read range is necessary.  Such application include vehicle identification, personnel identification and product and asset management. Our Extended Range Readers are fully supported by the IXP400i Access Control System.

The extended read range, enables these Readers to be used in situations where the use of a normal short-range Passive Proximity Reader would not be effective. A simple, auto-tuning procedure enables the Terminal to be placed in various locations where different amounts of metal are found.

Note:  The Extended Range Reader is currently not supported in the IXP220 system
